Marc Torrecilla Matencio (b. 1998, Barcelona)

Son of an internationally recognized naturalistic painter, Miquel Torrecilla. Marc has been involved in the representational figurative world since his childhood.  His work focuses on the search for his own identity in the world. Through observation and introspection, he represents the elements of reality that surround him, infused with ideas from his inner world. His works emerge as metaphors or allegories, inspired by everything that concerns him. Each piece is an expression of his emotions and a symbolic exploration of his identity. Painting is the means by which he captures the eternity of lost moments.
